Guidelines for mixing
Matching method Blending is simple to mix. Empty the 2kg bag of groundbait into a round bucket, fill a 2 pint maggot pan with water, pour it over the groundbait and mix thoroughly, then leave to sit for 30 minutes, during which time the water will be absorbed into the groundbait. So for best results; to eliminate any lumps and create a homogeneous consistency, pass the groundbait through a sieve and it is ready for use.
When fishing the sun and wind can dry out your groundbait a bit, to combat this you can cover the mixed groundbait with a damp towel or if it dries out just add a little more water and mix again.
