This is the evolution of the BG line which has enjoyed considerable success throughout Europe, equipped with many technical improvements that make it even more solid, robust and reliable.
The Daiwa 20 BG MQ or BG Monocoque reel has a monocoque aluminum body and is extremely light , resistant and totally anti-corrosion . Thanks to the Monocoque design, the reel body acts as a rigid frame and is distortion proof, while remaining handy and compact at the same time.
In terms of application , the new Daiwa 20 BG MQ reel is designed for heavy saltwater and freshwater spinning.
It is the ideal choice for those who practice shore jigging, spinning from the boat on the feeders of alletterati, bonito, large mahi-mahi and tuna, heavy spinning with leccia amia.
While for inland waters it is particularly suitable for spinning for catfish and big pike.
The reel is therefore suitable for spinning fishing in sea or fresh water where a solid, robust and powerful reel is required.
The new Daiwa 20 BG MQ reel uses the very powerful and fluid ATD Automatic Tournament Drag clutch Of Daiwa which allows particularly accurate settings and ensures very high pulling power.
There force transmission is entrusted to the new oversized gear system made with cold cutting thanks to Daiwa Digigear technology.
Compared to most competing reels, the gears they are between 20% and 40% larger and also feature a wider toothing, which gives the gears a longer life with tests verifying one to three times longer than competitors.
