Used by many of the UK's top anglers, this versatile groundbait has a number of uses.
Made from high quality crushed expander pellets, it is ground slowly to create a very consistent fine blend. Due to the fine particles it creates a very slow sinking groundbait which is perfect for a sloppy cloud when fed through a pole pot, a great attractant without stuffing the fish. Because of its fine texture it binds well, so it can be cupped into a ball or even inserted into the margin which forms a thin mat on the bottom that holds the fish for hours, and it can also be made into a paste for angle fishing. cane.
Lee Kerry (England International) says "Crushed expanders are my guilty pleasure, I use this mix in margins on its own or added to any mix when fishing open water, it's like the brown crumb of fishmeal baits, a must add ! "
Guidelines for mixing
Supercrush Expander can be mixed in a variety of ways to create different performance groundbaits. For most situations, empty the 2kg bag of groundbait into a round bucket, fill a 2 pint worm bowl with water, pour it over the groundbait and mix thoroughly, then allow it to sit for 30 minutes, during this time l water will be absorbed into the groundbait. So for best results; to eliminate any lumps and create a homogeneous consistency, pass the groundbait through a sieve and it is ready for use. However, if you want a sloppy cloud blend, keep adding water until you reach the right consistency.
When fishing the sun and wind can dry out your groundbait a bit, to combat this you can cover the mixed groundbait with a damp towel or if it dries out just add a little more water and mix again.
